Zlatan Ibrahimovic told to ease up by medics as he launches into punishing rehab training programme
ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC has been told to ease up as he makes a rapid return from a knee injury.
The Swedish superstar’s year at Manchester United was ruined by serious ligament damage.
Jose Mourinho wants out-of-contract Ibra, 35, to sign a new Old Trafford deal — if he makes a full return to fitness.
Ibra has been doing his rehab at United but club medics and American specialists think he could be overdoing it.
He has taken a week off but is still on target for a December return.
Ibrahimovic certainly looked in great shape when he was spotted on holiday with partner Helena Seger.
The 35-year-old enjoyed some down-time on a boat alongside his stunning other half – as well as agent Mino Raiola – in the South of France.
He showed off his toned body on his luxury yacht – even springing off the side to perform a dive, suggesting his knee is certainly holding up to the challenge of everyday life.

Back home United boss Jose Mourinho has admitted that United are in talks with Ibrahimovic over a new deal.
Mourinho confirmed he is trying to agree a deal which will see the 35-year-old link up with the squad for the majority of this season.
There is also considerable interest from Ibrahimovic's old club AC Milan.
Sporting director Massimo Mirabelli left the door open for the super Swede to return to the San Siro.
The Italian said: “Ibrahimovic? In life, never say never. Maybe an old acquaintance of ours could come back.
“I don’t want to hint at Ibra, that’s not the case. We have our feet on the ground.
“We’ll evaluate the things that we have to do after August 15.”
