MAROUANE FELLAINI'S hilarious facial shot has, somehow, become even more funny - and made him a challenger to Phil Jones' King of the Gurns crown.

The Belgian was pictured with a brilliant look on his face as he headed a high ball during Manchester United's clash with Real Madrid last night.

And Twitter did not hold back in response to his post, with a series of outstanding replies, depicting the 29-year-old in all sorts of weird and wonderful places.

One had his contorted face superimposed on to THAT infamous Cristiano Ronaldo statue.

Another showed a giant fan next to his head, while a third had his face on a melting candle.

And one supporter had his face looking warped after a left hook from boxing legend Mike Tyson.

United went down 2-1 to European champions Real Madrid in Skopje, as Jose Mourinho's side got their final preparations for the Premier League season under their belts.

Mourinho was disappointed to lose his third Uefa Super Cup, but gave his loser's medal to a young child in the stands who gratefully took the prize to keep.

Fellaini's latest stunt has also made him a contender for the new king of gurns at Old Trafford - challenging long-reigning Number One Phil Jones.
