RANGERS made an early gaffe ahead of their clash with Motherwell - by misspelling Graham Dorrans' NAME.

The Ibrox new boy was named in the starting line-up to make his debut as the Gers kicked off their Premiership campaign.

But he was left red-faced before kick-off with eagle-eyed Rangers fans noticing his jersey said DOORANS.

The Ibrox side announced their line-up for the Fir Park clash on social media before uploading an image of the players' jerseys hanging up in the dressing room.

And it wasn't long before some supporters were making fun of the spelling mistake in reply.

Plenty of fans joked Rangers needed to announce the signings of "Doorans" and joked he would be a hit.

The mistake had been rectified in time for kick-off, with Dorrans opening the scoring just five minutes into the game.

Following his summer move to Ibrox from Norwich, Dorrans said: "It feels incredible. It has been a long couple of weeks, but to finally get it over the line is an incredible feeling.

"I just can't wait to get the boots on and get started."
