NEMANJA MATIC took a swipe at his old club Chelsea after Manchester United beat Sampdoria 2-1 in Dublin.
After starring for the Red Devils at the AVIVA Stadium in the win, the 29-year-old appeared to take a dig at the Blues.
Speaking in his post-match interview, the defensive midfielder suggested that his current team-mates are the best he's ever played with.
When asked by the interviewer what he thinks of the current United squad, he said: "They are amazing.
"I played in a few clubs in my career, but these guys are amazing.”
He also spoke of how he had to train on his own during pre-season after he was left out of Chelsea's squad for their tour in Asia.
When asked how he felt playing his first minutes of football this summer, he added: "It was strange because the team has played and had a good pre-season.
"And as you know I trained alone in London, and it was strange for me, but I tried to give my best to control the game, give the balance and I think for the first game it was good for me.

"And step by step I think I will be better and better and I hope that I will help the team to achieve something this season."
He started against the Serie A side, where he lasted 45 minutes before being replaced by captain Michael Carrick.
The £40m man put on a masterclass in front of his adoring fans, something he was particularly delighted about.
He said: "It was nice, it was nice to play in front of our supporters in what was a full stadium of Manchester supporters and that was special to me and I am happy to make my debut for such a big club like Manchester United."
However, it wasn't just the players he left a mark on, with one female fan getting the ball booted in her face from the Serbian international - which he quickly apologised for.
Goals from Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata secured the victory in the last pre-season match for Jose Mourinho's men before their UEFA Super Cup match against Real Madrid next week.
