MANCHESTER CITY are sending young winger Isaac Buckley-Ricketts to Twente Enschede for the season.
The England under-19 cap is joining the Dutch side for a year on loan to give him extra experience.
Buckley-Ricketts is seen as a future first team player at City and they picked Twente ahead of rival bidders because he will be playing at a top level.
The 19-year-old is a pacey forward who signed for professional terms with Manchester City at the age of 13.
He was part of the all-conquering England Under 19s squad which won the the European Championships in Georgia this summer - for the first time in their history.
England claimed victory with a 2-1 victory over Portugal in the final.
City are hoping he develops at Twente, who play in the Eredivisie - the top league in Holland where they finished seventh last season.
They were crowned champions in the 2009–10 season under the management of former England boss Steve McClaren - their first title for 45 years.

Meanwhile, it has been revealed City will be without new signing Benjamin Mendy for the start of the Premier League season after it was revealed he has been carrying an injury for EIGHT months.
City boss Pep Guardiola said: "Unfortunately he is a little bit injured and is not ready for the next two or three weeks."
That means that the French international is unlikely to be fit for the opening game of the campaign at Brighton on August 12.
