Zlatan Ibrahimovic shows incredible leg strength as former Manchester United star recovers from injury

ZLATAN IBRAHIMOVIC is continuing his rapid recovery from injury as he rebuilds the muscle in his right leg.

The Swedish superstar was released by Manchester United at the end of last season and now he is fighting back to full fitness as he looks to return to football.

The striker posted a clip to his 26.4million Instagram followers of him lifting weights with great strength and control.

He posted the clip with the message: "Power is nothing without control."

While at the end of the video the cameraman said: "The king of football is coming back."

Ibrahimovic, who was United's top goalscorer last season, may have been inspired by comments made by Jose Mourinho who hinted the forward may re-sign for United.

Mourinho said: “It’s open, of course.

“Why not wait for a player who gave us so much, we are exchanging ideas and it’s with Mr Woodward and Zlatan’s agent but the final decision is what’s best for the player.

“We wanted to be open and honest and left everything for him to make a decision in case his desire was to leave, so there was not a new contract."

After being given permission to train at Carrington, Ibrahimovic also enrolled his two kids back into the club's youth academy.

The ex-PSG striker has now put sons Maximillian and Vincent back into the United set-up.
