'Welcome...my friend'

Pablo Zabaleta jokingly mocks Joe Hart after scoring screamer against him in West Ham training

Joe Hart's welcoming committee to West Ham included getting blasted with a strike from Pablo Zabaleta

Joe Hart had a unique welcoming to West Ham by his former Man City teammate Pablo Zabaleta.

The Argentinian defender gave Hart a sample of his mean right foot in the Hammers' training session.

The shot flew straight past Hart into the top corner.

And Zabaleta wasted no time getting in a friendly dig telling the keeper 'Welcome to West Ham, my friend.'

Hart is more used to having to having Zabaleta alongside him in the backfield.

The pair spent seven seasons together at Man City before Hart was sent to Torino on loan last season.

The English stopper will be glad to have Zabaleta back on his side rather than facing another strike like that.

The 31-year-old moved to the London side this summer on a free transfer while Hart joined on a season-long loan.
