Man City fans furious as Houston derby against Manchester United only available on MUTV
UK viewers over clash between arch-rivals will have to subscribe to Red Devils' official channel to watch US encounter
MANCHESTER CITY fans are fuming as the club confirmed the only place to watch the pre-season Manchester derby is on MUTV.
The Premier League giants face off in Houston, in the first-ever meeting outside of the country.
It will be City’s first in their pre-season tour of the US, while, for Manchester United, it's game No.3.
And the club’s official account explained where fans all around the world could watch the highly-anticipated match, which kicks off at 2:30am UK time on Friday July 21.
However, they explained the only way for viewers in the UK and Ireland to watch would be on MUTV — United’s official TV station.
Needless to say, City fans were less than pleased, with may questioning why it wasn’t being shown live on CityTV.
One irate supporter questioned: “So the only place we can watch it is on MUTV?”
While another urged the two-time Premier League-winners to “sort a TV channel out”.

Several supporters replied to tweet by revealing they won’t be watching the match.
While others used it as an opportunity to urge the club to sign left-back Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
MUTV is a subscription-only channel, which costs viewers £4.99-a-month.
