Manchester United’s pursuit of Ivan Perisic ‘not being taken into consideration’ by Inter Milan as director of football claims clubs are ‘miles away’

INTER MILAN’S sporting director Piero Ausilio insists Ivan Perisic is not joining Manchester United as the Nerazzurri are not taking their bids into consideration.
Jose Mourinho is keen to add the Croatian winger to his ranks.
However, it looks like they will come up short, with Inter refusing to even enter into negotiations with the Red Devils.
Ausilio told Sky Sport Italia: “We're miles away.
"We haven't taken anything they [United] have offered."
It had been rumoured Perisic had been training by himself as he attempted to force through a move to Old Trafford.
However, Ausilio dismissed this.
Inter are reported to have rejected a £39million bid from United, demanding nearer £48m.

However, it now appears they are unwilling to sell the 28-year-old at any price.
Perisic was one of the Nerazzurri's best players in a troubled campaign last season.
He joined from Wolfsburg in the summer of 2015 for around £15m.
