Cristiano Ronaldo snubs Manchester United and wants Real Madrid stay as world-class superstar changes his mind on future
Red Devils were believed to be targeting return for supposedly unhappy star but he now wants to remain with Los Blancos
CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly decided to stay at Real Madrid this summer.
The Portuguese forward was strongly linked with a return to Manchester United last month following accusations of tax evasion.
Ronaldo was said to be deeply unhappy in the Spanish capital and may have been open to an Old Trafford return despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Spanish paper AS claims the current Ballon d’Or holder won’t be going anywhere after all.
It’s claimed that Ronaldo is no longer upset and has been impressed by Real’s movements in the current transfer market.
The veteran is also confident he can win more individual, domestic and European trophies at the Santiago Bernabeu next season.
And it means United will be forced to look elsewhere if they’re still intent on signing another forward.
The Red Devils are on the verge of confirming Romelu Lukaku’s £90million move from Everton.

But with Wayne Rooney heading in the other direction, Jose Mourinho may yet decide he needs another attacker at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo’s teammate Alvaro Morata was previously on United’s wishlist before they pounced for Lukaku.
While Inter Milan ace Ivan Perisic continues to attract admiring glances from chiefs at the Theatre of Dreams.
