Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann splits with his agent after failed move to Old Trafford
Atletico Madrid striker no longer represented by Eric Olhats due to 'image and future no longer being in harmony'
ANTOINE GRIEZMANN has parted company with his agent Eric Olhats.
The Atletico Madrid star had looked set for a move to England this summer with Manchester United linked with the forward for months.
He even gave a 60 per cent chance of the deal going ahead at one point.
However, he later penned a new deal to commit his future to the La Liga giants until 2022.
And after Griezmann’s recent rollercoaster ride it has now been revealed he has decided to no longer be represented by long-term ally Eric Olhats.
The agent first spotted the Frenchman when he was aged just 14, so the decision will undoubtedly have been a difficult one.
However, Olhats has revealed to L’Equipe the reasons behind the split.
He said: “The recent positioning of Griezmann’s image and future is no longer in harmony with our vision as a partnership.

“I will focus on my role as a Real Sociedad scout.
“I thank [Griezmann] for his confidence in me over the course of various years obviously I wish him the best in the next chapter of his career.”
Although Griezmann has agreed a new deal with Atletico, his stay in the Spanish capital may last just one more year.
When discussing the reason behind his failed move to Old Trafford with FourFourTwo, the striker refused to commit his long-term future to Diego Simeone’s side.
He said: “To be honest, I don’t know. I’m going to be playing for Atletico next season and after that we’ll see.
“All I am thinking about now is Atletico Madrid.
“I think it’s absurd to talk about something that is more than a year away.”
