The 21-year-old netted twice in 17 games for Barcelona before switching to their La Liga rivals last year.

He has impressed for Malaga since then, hitting 14 goals in 30 matches.

Ramirez's arrival at Everton makes it even more likely that ex-Chelsea frontman Lukaku will depart this summer.

The Toffees reportedly want £100million for the Belgium star, although an exit for less than that seems probable.

The Sun revealed today how Stamford Bridge chief Antonio Conte is dreaming of an £176m double deal for Lukaku and Tottenham's England midfielder Dele Alli.

Conte is willing to pay £88m apiece for two of the Premier League's best performers in 2016-17.
