Premier League’s top investors revealed with Roman Abramovich top of the list at £2BILLION… and Arsenal fans should not be too upset with Stan Kroenke’s expenditure
Russia has invested more in the Premier League than any other country, even the Government of China has got involved
ROMAN ABRAMOVICH may take a back seat these days in Chelsea's transfer dealings - but he's still the most "invested" owner in the Premier League.
Research has revealed the Russian billionaire has ploughed in £2BILLION into the London club in his 14 years since buying the Blues.
Though he started as a street trader, Abramovich has come a long way, now with the greatest investment in any football club in the league.
After the controversial acquisition of Manchester United by the Glazer family, with fans worried that the club was being bought by debt, we can reveal that the Americans have pumped £800million into the club.
The Glazers don’t only own Manchester United, they also own the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League in America.
And in third spot in the list of investor giants might come as a surprise to some.
Stan Kroenke has been the subject of some pretty intense criticism from Arsenal fans, but he has parted with a whopping £450m since becoming the majority shareholder in 2011.
Gunners fans will be desperate to see some of these finances spent on the pitch after last season's disappointment when they missed out on a Champions League spot.
