Man United warned they must ‘wait another 12 months’ if they want to sign Anderson Talisca
Brazilian playmaker expresses his 'love' for United but Besiktas dig their heels in over deal to take Benfica ace on loan again
MANCHESTER UNITED must wait "another 12 months" to sign Anderson Talisca.
That's the no-nonsense message from Besiktas as they fend off interest in the Brazilian playmaker.
Taliska, who is actually on loan with the Turks from Benfica, has expressed his "love" for United.
But Besiktas say they have activated a clause to loan him for another season.
All of which leaves 23-year-old Talisca and United in a right old pickle.

Talisca said it was his dream to play for United and claimed Old Trafford boss Jose Mourinho wanted to sign him.
But Umut Guner, president of Besiktas' transfer committee, weighed into the situation and told Hurriyet: "There is no deal with Manchester United or anyone else in place.
"We agreed to a two-year deal with Benfica. The loan did have a clause that the option [for a second year] had to be activated, which we did.
"Talisca will stay at Besiktas on loan for another season. Reports claiming that he can be signed for his €25m (£22m) release clause are false, he has a deal with us.
"If a club wants to sign him now they will have to wait another 12 months."
Talisca scored 13 goals and made two assists in 22 Super Lig appearances with the Turkish champions last season.
And he obviously hasn't given up hope of a switch to the Premier League.
United have already announced the signing of central defender Victor Lindelof from Benfica this summer.
And Talisca admitted he dreams of following the same path as the Sweden international.
"It's a love that exists, I will not lie," he told Globoesporte. "It's a dream, something all players want.
'But it [a move] does not depend on me alone. It depends on Benfica, my representatives, who are dealing with the situation.
"But soon, soon, they will have the news there.
“It’s something that all players want [a move to Manchester United].
“I had a good season and, as I said, his [Mourinho's] love is old and I like his work as well. I hope everything works out.”
