Mourinho has had to rethink his summer targets after Ibrahimovic's injury and Atletico Madrid's transfer ban - resulting in a new deal for Antoine Griezmann.

Morata's transfer opens the door for Real to sign Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe, 18, is set to be offered a stunning 900 PER CENT pay rise by the Ligue 1 champions, though Los Blancos reckon they can lure him to the Bernabeu.

The France starlet is concerned he will not be given enough game time in Madrid but Florentino Perez has moved to reassure him how significant a role he would play at the club.

Morata will become United's second summer transfer following their £31m capture of Victor Lindelof from Benfica.

Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is said to have agreed personal terms with United ahead of a stunning £40m move.
