Manchester City release FOUR first-team players while Manchester United allow Zlatan Ibrahimovic to leave
Arsenal have not retained Yaya Sanogo, meaning the 24-year-old striker is now a free agent ahead of next season
MANCHESTER UNITED have chosen to release Zlatan Ibrahimovic while Pep Guardiola has chosen to release FOUR first-team players.
Gael Clichy, Bacary Sagna, Jesus Navas and Willy Caballero are amongst the eight players released by City as they prepare for another busy summer.
While Arsenal have allowed Yaya Sanogo to leave, ending his four-year stay at the Emirates.
Ibrahimovic's spell at Old Trafford is now over, after he picked up a devastating ACL injury.
But despite the forward's knee injury, people believed the Red Devils may stick with their man after he finished the season as United's top scorer with 28 goals.
Ibrahimovic successfully had surgery on his damaged knee and appears to be well ahead of schedule as he has already been back kicking a football.

While Manchester City, who have already signed 'keeper Ederson and Bernado Silva, waved goodbye to four first-team players.
It has been expected Guardiola would revamp his ageing defence and in doing so he has released both fullbacks Clichy and Sagna.
This comes after Pablo Zabaleta had waved made the switch from the Etihad to join West Ham.
While Navas and Caballero have also been released.
Following John Terry's emotional farewell at Stamford Bridge, it is no surprise Chelsea have released the defender.
The Blues skipper made his last-ever appearance in the 5-1 win over Sunderland and was given a guard of honour when he left the field.
Terry was brought off in the 26th minute after David Moyes agreed to make sure the ball was out of play to allow the substitution to take place.
Arsenal on the other hand do not have so many high-profile names leaving the club, with Sanogo the biggest player to not be retained.
The Frenchman signed on a free transfer in 2013 and with his progression being hampered by injuries, Sanogo struggled to make his mark on the first team.
Since arriving at the Emirates, he only managed to make 21 appearances for the Gunners.
