Javier Hernandez drops huge hint he wants to return to Manchester United after liking fan’s tweet
JAVIER HERNANDEZ has hinted again at a potential return to Manchester United.
The Mexican striker was flogged to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen for £7.3million in August 2015 by former Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal.
Hugely popular among United fans, the decision left the Old Trafford faithful baffled – especially since he has gone on to net 38 goals in just 73 matches for his new side.

And United supporters are not the only ones bemused Van Gaal’s decision, with current manager Jose Mourinho recently saying he would have kept the 28-year-old.
Hernandez retweeted that interview, in which Mourinho told the BBC: “Man United sold players that I would never sell, bought players that I would never buy.
“I would never sell Di Maria, Chicharito [Hernandez], Danny Welbeck. Never. No chance.”

If that was not indication enough that he would like a return to Manchester, he has now added further fuel to the flames by liking a fan’s tweet urging the club to re-sign him.
Mourinho is currently relying on veteran Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for goals.
Meanwhile, fellow forward and club captain Wayne Rooney seemingly set to depart this summer.
Hernandez has scored 12 goals in 33 games this campaign, with Leverkusen believed to be not willing to accept a fee of less than £21m for him.
