CARLOS TEVEZ wasted no time in paying back his monstrous £615,000-a-week wages at Shanghai Shenhua, scoring after 35 minutes of his Chinese Super League debut.

After Giovanni Moreno had got Shanghai Shenhua off to a flying start - with Tevez bagging the assist - the Chinese side were given a penalty in the 35th minute.
Tevez stepped up and coolly sent Jiangsu Suning's keeper the wrong way to mark his league debut with a goal.
Mao Jianqing added a third, before Tevez notched his second assist of the game, setting up Moreno once more as Shenhua - coached by Gus Poyet - thumped Jiangsu Suning 4-0.
The losing side on the day are the team Chelsea midfielder Ramires controversially left Stamford Bridge for - however he did no play on the day.
Fellow big-money earner Alex Teixeira had a day to forget, visibly frustrated with the thumping defeat, being sent off in the final minute of the game for a second bookable offence.
