Burnley boss Sean Dyche prepares swoop for Nottingham Forest ace Joe Worrall
The Clarets boss is still looking to fill the void left by Michael Keane's summer switch to Everton
SEAN DYCHE plans to splash the cash on Joe Worrall.
Burnley boss Dyche is looking to strengthen despite a sensational start to the season.
And he is still looking to fill a gap left by Michael Keane’s exit to Everton.
Dyche still has the money from that sale to invest and he is looking to land Nottingham Forest youngster Worrall.
Burnley have Ben Mee and James Tarkowski in top form but they would like Worrall, 20, to provide competition.
The England Under-20 skipper fits the Burnley profile and it is now a matter of agreeing a fee with Forest for a player they rate at £12million.
Dyche is also ready to make a low £1.5m bid for Everton’s Aaron Lennon, 30, the winger he missed out in the summer — as we first revealed.
Lennon’s deal runs out in the summer and there is no sign of him staying.
