Manchester United Transfer News: Red Devils prepare to battle Liverpool to sign Turkey international Yusuf Yazici
The 20-year-old emerged as a real force in Turkish football last season, netting six times and laying on 10 assists for team-mates
MANCHESTER UNITED and Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Trabzonspor ace Yusuf Yazici.
According to reports from Turkey, the Red Devils are preparing to bid £12 million for the 20-year-old next year.
The attacking midfielder has spent nine years on the books at his hometown club after joining them as a kid.
Yazici emerged as a real force in Turkish football last season, netting six times and laying on 10 assists for team-mates, earning rave reviews.
But has recently attracted the attention of some Premier League heavyweights such as Everton after breaking into Trabzonspor's first team.
Last season Yazici established himself in Ersun Yanal’s first-team plans after stepping in during Mehmet Ekici’s injury lay-off.
Over the summer he was also linked with a move to Liverpool, but nothing materialised.
Now, however, Fanatik are reporting that Jose Mourinho's side are eyeing up a move for the Yazici.

The Turkish club's president Muharram Usta is reluctant to sell the Turkey international anytime soon.
He said: "I want to see Yusuf here for our 50th year anniversary squad.
"He will be sold when the time is right, Yusuf will be an ambassador for the club and reach the highest level."
