One eagle-eyed supporter spotted the error before uploading a picture to Twitter.

Alongside the image of the black wallet with the Gunners badge is the caption: "Good job I checked this before I bought it!"

The wallet is wrapped in official Leeds packaging with the words 'Leeds United official merchandise' plastered in writing.

Some Leeds fans responded in hilarious fashion with one in particular sharing an error on one of his purchases.

He wrote: "I once had a pair of #lufc boxers from souvenir shop and it said Scooby Doo on the elastic waist band under the Leeds material."

Meanwhile Leeds' wallet will be bulging following the sale of striker Chris Wood for £15million.
