The video, which was uploaded on Saturday, shows a member of staff taking down a giant image of the Brazil international from the front of the official club store on Williamson Square.

Although, the action may have been taken to refreshing the store's window display it has sparked rumours that the former Inter midfielder is heading for an Anfield exit.

On Friday, it was revealed that Coutinho, 25, had submitted a formal transfer request in a bid to push through a move to the Nou Camp.

Barcelona, desperate to replace Neymar following his £198m Paris Saint-Germain move, have already seen two offers knocked back for the 25-year-old.

A £72million offer was followed up by a whopping £90m bid submitted days ago, as they look to bully Liverpool into accepting.

It seems Jurgen Klopp has edged the door open for his wantaway star to join Barcelona for £90m after their 3-3 draw at Watford.

Klopp said: “I don’t make the decision.

“If we sell a player, or don’t sell him, then I must accept it.

“I cannot say anything about the situation. I just work with the him, then I must accept it. I just work with the players I have and that is what I’m always doing.”

That was a significant step away from Klopp’s previous stance — that the club would snub any bid from Barca to replace £198m Neymar.

Coutinho, an £8.5m buy from Inter Milan in 2013, missed Saturday’s match, apparently with an ongoing back injury.
