Bournemouth reject loan offer from Toulouse for Ivorian winger Max Gradel
Winger failed to start a Premier League game last season on his return from a serious injury
BOURNEMOUTH have rejected a loan move from Toulouse for winger Max Gradel.
The 29-year-old has endured a difficult spell on the south coast after suffering a serious cruciate ligament injury.
Gradel failed to make a league start under Eddie Howe last season and mustered just 126 minutes throughout the campaign.
But it appears he may have a greater role for the Premier League side this season after the Cherries turned down a loan move according to Get French Football.
The former Leeds man joined Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee from St Etienne for an undisclosed fee in 2015.
A year later he penned a new four-year contract to keep him at the club until 2020.
Hull, Watford and Sunderland have all been linked with moves for Gradel ahead of the new season.
Bournemouth have been busy this summer completing the signings of three players.
