But Redmond was all smiles as he posted a picture of himself posing on a yacht with stunner Emma Milton.

He looked relaxed in a summery shirt with the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel visible in the background.

Redmond, 23, joined Southamton from Norwich in 2016 and enjoyed a solid debut season on the South Coast.

The pacey winger made his full England debut this year after coming off the bench in a friendly against Germany.

He has won 38 Under-21 caps after a stellar career in international youth football and will hope to force his way into Gareth Southgate's plans.

Redmond thrived, playing 43 times last season - managing seven goals in the process.

And he will now hope to impress new boss Mauricio Pellegrino when he links up with his teammates.

The Argentinian boss was brought in to replace Claude Puel, who was cruelly axed after just one season.

Puel paid the price for his negative tactics and Pellegrino's style should bring the best out of Redmond.

Another strong campaign could see the big guns calling for one of England's most dynamic young wide men.
