Olivier Giroud accused of snubbing team-mate Alexandre Lacazette after scoring in Arsenal’s win over Sydney

OLIVIER GIROUD has been accused of blanking Alexandre Lacazette during Arsenal's pre-season win over Western Sydney Wanderers.

The towering striker has seen his first-team spot further under threat following the £52.6million arrival of his French compatriot.

And he has found himself at the centre of debate yet again following his goal in the 3-1 friendly victory. 

After firing Arsenal ahead after 33 minutes, Giroud appeared to snub Lacazette during his celebration.

Arsenal's new boy went over to his fellow striker and attempted to give him a high five but Giroud headed in the opposite direction to celebrate with the rest of his team-mates.

Giroud has been the subject of a bid from West Ham but Slaven Bilic's side have turned their attentions elsewhere. 

He started just 11 Premier Leagye games for the Gunners last season as Wenger refused to confirm whether he will remain at the Emirates.

Speaking after the win, the boss said: "Yeah, there’s a lot of speculation.
