Fernando Llorente may have been brought to Tottenham to add experience to their frontline but he is eager to learn from Harry Kane.

Spurs beat Chelsea to the punch on deadline day to secure Llorente from Swansea in a deal that could prove to be a shrewd investment, with the 32-year-old striker arriving for a fee of around £14million.

Llorente arrives at Spurs with a wealth of experience from spells at Athletic Bilbao, Juventus and Sevilla, but he expects to gain a lot from playing alongside a forward eight years his junior.

"I’m very, very happy to join Tottenham, an amazing club," Llorente said.

"I can only say that I come here to help Tottenham to win titles. I think they are working very, very good in the last years and I like it a lot.

"I am 32 years old, but I want to learn every day. I think I can learn a lot of things off Harry Kane and all the players. I can learn with Pochettino a lot and I am going to do my best here.

"I think I can do more things in my career and my dream is to do that here in Tottenham."

Llorente scored 15 Premier League goals for Swansea in his first season in England last term but the Welsh side reluctantly acquiesced to his desire to move to London, bringing in former striker Wilfried Bony in his place.
