Watford boss Marco Silva is not concerned by Tottenham and Chelsea’s interest in their star forward Richarlison.
The 20-year-old joined Watford from Fluminense for £11.5million in July and has swiftly settled to life in the Premier League, scoring five goals and laying on four assists in 14 appearances.
Richarlison’s form has attracted the interest of both Chelsea and Spurs, who Standard Sport understands could be willing to allow Georges-Kevin Nkoudou to move to Vicarage Road as part of any such deal.
But for now Silva, the subject of his own transfer tug of war when Everton requested permission to talk to him over their vacant managerial position last month, sees no cause for concern if top clubs circle around Watford stars.
“For us as a club it is important to keep our best players,” Silva said.
“It's normal. We know our players are doing well and some are improving a lot. It's normal other clubs pay attention to them.
“After it's that it's the club's decision. The owner will decide what is best.”
Richarlison’s fine form was rewarded with a nomination for PFA Fans’ Player of the Month, where he will compete with Ashley Young, Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri.
