Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata returns from suspension to start against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.

In an expected move from coach Antonio Conte, Morata is back in the Chelsea line-up for the visit of Brighton on Boxing Day after he sat out the goalless draw against Everton through suspension.

The Spaniard - Conte's first-choice striker - picked up his fifth yellow card of the season while celebrating his late winner against Bournemouth last week, which meant he missed the trip to Goodison Park on Saturday - where Chelsea failed to break down a stubborn Everton defence.

But Morata is back in the Chelsea starting XI as Conte looks to claim all three points on Boxing Day.

Meanwhile, Chris Hughton will not be able to call upon Izzy Brown - who is spending the season on loan from Chelsea - due to the terms of his deal.
