Chelsea have too much firepower while Alan Pardew is under instant pressure, writes Danny Murphy

Chelsea know they have to keep winning because of what Manchester City are doing, and this will be a win for the Blues without it being a spanking, because Rafa Benitez will have Newcastle organised.

They got a draw late on against West Brom in the week, but I cannot see them getting anything.

I fancy Chelsea to do them by a couple with the firepower they have. Conte has so many options, with Willian, Pedro, Eden Hazard and Alvaro Morata and could chose two or three of those four, or even all four.

Instant pressure on Pardew

This is a really tough one for Alan Pardew to start with.

After what happened at West Brom under Tony Pulis there is a pressure for him to play a certain way, and being at home he is going to have to play on the front foot and have a go at Palace.

Pardew is expected to go in there, get a response and get the team playing a bit more attacking football.

But Palace have got good counter-attacking players so he has got to be careful, because the way Roy Hodgson works, he prefers teams to come at him.

Palace are looking hard to beat, which is the way to go, but they have got to be a bit braver on the road. If their home form continues they have got a good chance of staying up. But they have got to have more belief on the road. Play a bit higher up and let Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend do their stuff.

If they keep picking up points on the road and their home form continues, they will be fine. But the odd win on the road takes the pressure off the next home game.
