Alex Sandro has told Juventus he wants to stay at the club despite interest from Chelsea.

The Brazil left-back is Blues boss Antonio Conte’s top choice as he looks to upgrade his options on the flank, where Marcos Alonso is currently the only senior option available.

Chelsea have bid £52million and £61m for Sandro but both bids were swiftly rejected by the Italian champions.

It would require Sandro to force through an exit for the Blues to get their man but Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta has revealed that the 26-year-old has instead committed his future to the Italian giants.

“He said he wants to stay here, so we sent the offers right back where they came from,” Marotta said.

The Blues will likely have to cast their net further afield to bring in the reinforcements Antonio Conte has demanded, with Tottenham's Danny Rose and Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand other options Chelsea are considering to provide competition for Matic.

Chelsea are also looking for an option to play at right wing-back, where Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Serge Aurier are among the names under consideration.
