NFL odds 2017, Week 13: Betting lines, trends, and analysis for the week's top games

Matt Ryan’s Atlanta Falcons and Drew Brees’ New Orleans Saints are two of the betting favorites at the sportsbooks on the Week 13 odds.

The Atlanta Falcons are 13-1 straight up and 11-3 against the spread in their last 14 games against NFC opponents. The Falcons will try to continue their playoff push with a win at home over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.

Atlanta is a 3-point home favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Since going 1-4 SU and 0-5 ATS over their previous five games, the Falcons have been back on track of late with a 3-0 SU and ATS record. They'll need to solve a red-hot Minnesota team this Sunday that is 7-0 SU over its last seven games and 6-0 ATS over its last six games. Minnesota was favored in each of its previous five games.

In another intriguing matchup between two teams fighting for positioning in the NFC standings, the Carolina Panthers are a 4-point underdog on the road against the New Orleans Saints.

Carolina has failed to cover the spread in each of its last five games against the Saints with an 0-4-1 ATS run over that stretch. The Saints are 8-0 SU and 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as a betting favorite.

Betting favorites have had a historically strong month this November with a combined record of 37-15-4 ATS. Two favorites that will try to keep on rolling after covering as big chalk last week are the New England Patriots (-8) at Buffalo and the Philadelphia Eagles (-5) at Seattle.

New England is 24-3 SU in its last 27 games against the Bills per the OddsShark NFL Database. Buffalo has gone 1-5 SU and ATS in its last six games against division rivals. The Patriots have won seven straight games and have covered the spread in each of their last five.

Philadelphia visits Seattle for Sunday Night Football this week. The Eagles have run away with the NFC East with a 10-1 SU and 9-2 ATS record so far this season. Seattle is 8-0 SU and ATS in its last eight games played on Week 13.

Rounding out this week's primetime games are Washington at Dallas (-1) on Thursday night and Pittsburgh (-6) at Cincinnati on Monday night. Dallas is 7-2 SU in its last eight games against Washington, and Pittsburgh is 5-0 SU in its last five games against Cincinnati.
