Fantasy football Week 3: Russell Wilson, start or sit?

The Seahawks’ offensive line problems mean disaster for Wilson’s fantasy stock.

It has been a hard start to the season for Russell Wilson. The Seattle Seahawks QB has been held under 200 yards passing for two straight games and only has one score, but he managed not to throw any interceptions as well. Wilson is struggling behind a terrible offensive line that has given up six sacks on their QB. Against the San Francisco 49ers, Wilson was pressured 21 times. The 49ers defense has not recorded that many pressures in a game since 2014.

Things will not get any easier for Wilson on Sunday. The Seahawks head to Tennessee to face the Titans who led the league in pressures last season while being the most blitz-heavy defense in the NFL.

Fantasy impact: Wilson is a good QB with a bad offensive line. That is a fantasy horror story. Wilson was struggling to survive against a bad defense that was missing its top pass rusher. No way this week is going to be any better with Tennessee always bringing the blitz.

Recommendation: Sit
