Keenan Allen ended a major lull in the win over the Buffalo Bills Sunday. The Chargers’ leading receiver had not scored a touchdown since the first game of the season and he has been held under 70 yards receiving in every game since Week 4. Sunday, Allen broke out for a season-high 12 receptions for 159 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets in just three quarters.
Allen draws a soft Cowboys defense Thursday. The Cowboys’ secondary has allowed the second-most touchdowns to wideouts this season. They have given up at least two passing scores in their last three games. No WR has more than 80 receiving yards against the Cowboys since Week 8, however.
Fantasy impact: Allen finally has momentum and there is a good chance he can keep it going against Dallas. The Cowboys are average at defending against the pass and they allow a lot of scores to wideouts. It will not be very hard for Allen to at least get a touchdown Thursday, especially if he gets another double-digit-target game.
