49ers rookie linebacker Reuben Foster suffered a high ankle sprain in the 49ers’ Week 1 loss to the Panthers. The sprain has kept Foster out for the team’s game against the Rams on Thursday night, but he’s still making himself seen.
Foster, unlike most players who are injured, was wearing his jersey on the sideline. But instead of Foster on the back, it said “SAVAGE”:
Foster is expected to be one of the better rookies in this 2017 class. I don’t want to say wearing this particular jersey could make him the best — but it might.
Once he’s able to get back on the field, we’ll see the savage come out of Foster.
