Manchester United starlet Axel Tuanzebe has joined Aston Villa on loan for the rest of the season.
The United academy graduate finalised the details of his temporary switch to the Championship promotion-chasers on Thursday.
Tuanzebe can play at centre-half or in midfield, but boss Steve Bruce is likely to use him to add competition in his engine-room.
The hold-up has been with regard to the finer points of the temporary switch.
Jose Mourinho said earlier this month: "Axel Tuanzebe plays in a position where I have so many players, today on the bench I had Marcos Rojo and Victor Lindelof, and Eric Bailly is still in recovery, so I'm not giving the chances to Axel.
"So probably Axel is the only one that I open the door for him to go and play because I believe he is a really good talent and he needs to play."
