Borussia Dortmund will not entertain a swap deal involving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Olivier Giroud.

The German side are keen on Giroud as a replacement for Aubameyang, who has held talks over a move to the Emirates.

But Dortmund have warned Arsenal the two deals will have no bearing on the other, reports RMC Sport.

Arsenal are hopeful of tying up a deal for Aubameyang as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's agent has jetted to London in a bid to seal his switch to Arsenal.

Mirror Sport revealed on Tuesday that the Gabon international marksman had verbally agreed a move to the Emirates.

And his father, who is also his representative, has flown to the capital to commence formal negotiations, according to Bild.

Arsene Wenger has made it clear he would not let Alexis Sanchez depart until he had a replacement through the door.

Sanchez 'agrees United deal'

Alexis Sanchez has reportedly agreed a four-year deal with Manchester United worth £56million.

The Arsenal forward, whose contract at the Gunners runs out at the end of the season, could join the Old Trafford club in time to face Burnley this weekend.

Sanchez will earn £270,000-a-week after tax, according to the Daily Telegraph .

But his move hinges on United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan going in the opposite direction as part of the deal.

The Armenian arrived at training in Manchester this morning as he ponders his options.
