It’s so annoying, I thought he was excellent against United, I think he’s a really good player.

He has this away game curse for some reason.

He's our cleanest player, technically I mean. Rarely gives possession away cheaply, but his consistency level is not where I can think of him as "really good." Too often the final ball, the finish, the final pass, is off target with him. Seems like a genuinely nice guy so I want him to do well, but consistency is lacking.

Job done, great result, but rather than get the trumpets out, let's build on that for Sunday.

Guys, guys we need to stay calm its only half time, we can't afford to be lackadaisical, scoring 7 although commendable is a job only half done  ;D,

What a result eh ? Not only for us but Spartak certainly sh*t in Sevilla's kettle didn't they ? Done us a massive favour that, No doubt we'll have another goal fest next week so hopefully the other match will end in a draw paving the way for us to finish top  by gaining a further 3 pts from the last two games , i think ?

Great result lads, Milner in for Hendo, ? Has Jürgen finally lost patience with his skipper?

Shitting in a kettle sounds like it requires a lot of practice

A very good display against a team who are supposedly half decent, although we made them look utter garbage on the night. Anyway my main point is can we please stop playing Hendo in every frigging game, we really do have better options, Milner being the main one.

Not many clubs would have fans staying in the stadium at 7-0 down,
never mind signing their hearts out.

I bet Maribor would like them to show up for league games too, only average 2,500 odd.

What a win! So pleased with how the team looked that I cant even articulate it. However, our opposition just looked inept to handle our attacking style of football. They may be a good squad(I know nothing about them) but stylistically they wont show that class against the likes of us if they defend that far off the ball. Giving Mo and Couts that kind of space is death sentence. Could you imagine if they had to deal with the pace of Mane and defended like that???

Milner was such class. This is what I love about him. His willingness to put the ball into areas for the play makers is a strength of his and has been a huge crime from Hendo this season. Milner comes in for one game and shows just how special these cats can be if you take some calculated risk and put the ball on the money. His pace, timing, and precision was top notch in this game. Maybe his best game as a Red? I am not crying for him to take Hendo's job or start over any other MF based on this game. However, I do hope Klopp starts to use his other resources and allows for the pitch play to decide. If he does all the mid field outside of Couts is on notice.

Salah scores closer to goal than any small player I have ever seen.

Good for AOC. Hope he feeds off this.

To a lesser extent the same for Bobby. He needed this.

      Did Gini play?

Will TAA ever be a MF option for us?

I would go with Milner against Spurs but I would still play Hendo...my front 6 Coutinho,Salah,Milner,Hendo,Can,Wijnaldrum.

Milner can play left wing back giving Moreno more support, getting down the left supporting Coutinho. Klopp generally plays 4-3-3 but we need to get something out of this game and Milner deserves a start.
