      Not for me anymore, i'd be happy if we sold him in January. I think Klopp should seriously consider giving Solanke the nod over him now.

      He lost everything. I agree, if we sold him I would be happy. I would play Solanke or Ings and not to forget Firmino.

      Short sub appearance from Danny last night but immediately showed his class yet again, and tore up the stereotypes.

      Lazy, selfish... can't play in our forward line... no chance! An effective team player with a hand in two of the goals last night. Great stuff. If only Klopp played this lad more.

      Totally agree. It's clear at the moment that we are really struggling to score goals, and Studge would be the perfect option to fix that. He's also proven in the past that he can be relied on with an extended number of games. It's criminal this team is not built around Danny Sturridge

      As to your second point, don't we do rotation? I mean, Lallana should just give up then, because how does he replace any of the lads? There have been plenty of opportunities for Sturridge to get game time (and he didn't), and there could yet be many opportunities.

      He can't play him more as Bobby is light years ahead of him. They're like night and day.

      Possibly Studge himself......judging by the name ;)

      To me - I thought he was ok when he came on but looked miles slower than the fab 4 (in thought and deed) and would be a massive retrograde step right now.

      His technical ability is still there, unfortunately the speed is not. With the speed at which the fantastic four play at it just doesn't make sense to have him around.

      Previously, the argument to keep him was because when we struggled against teams that parked the bus we struggled to score, but this issue has now been solved with the arrival of Salah aka the messiah.

      I think Sturridge should move if he is to try get into the WC team for England and i wouldn't mind seeing him in the PL still, think he would suit a Crystal Palace or Bournemouth.

      I mean I really like Danny but struggling to score goals?  We've scored 32 since spurs in 9 games.... 40 since Utd in 11 games

      I think it's 62 in 23 this season off the top of my head

      The bigger (semi-serious) question is “in place of whom?”..........

      He is a wonderful player - I just don’t see how him instead of any of the 4 improves us.......ergo he’s a squad option / impact sub.

      Yes, but shame on me if he was being serious, but i doubt it!

      Anyway, I like Sturridge still, and agree with the vast majority he is a squad player. However, I'd be ok if he left in January if we can replace him with a quick wide player. I think having Firmino, Solanke and Mane or Salah playing through the middle (If needed) would be enough to take us over the finishing line.
