When you say a word enough times, it starts to lose all meaning. The name Gylfi Sigurdsson is starting feel that way. Is he a difference maker? I don’t know. Will Everton sign him? I don’t know. Is he even a real person? I honestly do not know.

What I do know is that Everton need to wrap up this dumb transfer saga ASAP. Just offer Swansea what they want or go nab other players. It’s already too late for him to be involved in this week’s Europa League match. They need to get him in so he can be ready for the Premier League.
