Everton are far from a perfect team as is. But let’s pause and think about what kind of experience the future foundation of this club is getting this campaign. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is the de facto striker. Jonjoe Kenny has made missing Seamus Coleman much easier. Mason Holgate, despite his struggles, looks solid in the center of of defense. Tom Davies brings endless energy to the table. And both Nikola Vlasic and Ademola Lookman have the ability to change a match off the bench. If the Blues can somehow keep the band together, there could be something special brewing at Goodison Park. Just wait.
