Everton all-action midfielder Tom Davies is fit again after withdrawing from the England Under-21 team over the international break with a hamstring issue. The Blues will have another player back, with defender Cuco Martina having recovered from his scary fall during the last Europa League game away at Lyon.

In his pre-match comments yesterday, David Unsworth stated that the fallout between Duncan Ferguson and insubordinate pair Morgan Schneiderlin and Kevin Mirallas is behind them now, with both eligible to play today too.

Ross Barkley, Seamus Coleman and Yannick Bolasie are all practicing again and in various stages of return to the Everton squad, but James McCarthy will miss this weekend.

For Crystal Palace, striker Christian Benteke should make a return after missing seven weeks with a knee injury. Fellow forward Ruben Loftus-Cheek is doubtful with back spasms he picked up after making an England appearance during the international break.

Left back Patrick van Aanholt is out with a hamstring injury while Jordon Mutch and Lee Chung-yong are not expected back until December for today’s hosts.
