As an Everton fan, Mixed Martial Arts fighter “Meatball” Molly McCann feels your pain:

She also really wants to dole out pain this Saturday against Brazilian fighter Priscila de Souza at the ECHO Arena in front of a crowd of thousands of rowdy Scousers at the ECHO Arena. As a boxer, McCann had 17 straight wins and as an MMA fighter she is 5-1.

Meatball Molly grew up in Liverpool and is a diehard Everton fan, getting a chance to visit Finch Farm last season to meet some of the players.

As a woman, she wasn't even allowed in the gym at first. She picked up the “Meatball” nickname because she came into training after working her job at Subway. Now she has UFC aspirations in the flyweight division.

McCann has been working on her jiu jitsu skills and promised the Echo that she will deliver for the home crowd:

“I’m not going to let you breathe. I’m not going to give you space to attack me. I’m best when I’m in the pocket, I can’t be knocked down, I can’t be finished, I can’t be submitted.”

A regular at Everton games, look for her in the crowd at the Lyon game next week. And after that, she will be training in America for two months. If you see her, don't mess with her! For crying out loud!

Meatball prides herself on fighting even when her back is up against the wall. As an Everton fan this season, we know it can be rough when things aren't going your way.

McCann will give fans a reason to cheer this Saturday, as she guarantees a win:

“Molly McCann will not let you down. Bet your house on me.”

Me and my number one @alixmaedunny at the game today! #coybs
