Y’all, Everton is drunk:

Everton have finally signed Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson from Swansea City for a fee reported to be up to £45m.

The 27-year-old has signed a five-year-deal at Goodison Park and becomes Ronald Koeman’s eighth major signing of the summer. Sigurdsson has been a long-term target for the Everton boss, who enquired about his availability in January and then the clubs engaged in what seemed like an unending back-and-forth since the beginning of this offseason.

The bonkers thing is that their fans seem mostly excited about this.

In other news:

I think Marco Asensio might be good:

Dortmund has agreed to personal terms with Jeremy Toljan. So he’s not coming.

And Madrid is apparently interested in Davinson Sanchez:

Meanwhile Juve is close to signing PSG midfielder Blaise Matuidi.

Former Real Madrid starlet Jese is close to a loan deal to take him from PSG to Stoke City.
