Dele Alli scores Tottenham’s first goal of season against Newcastle United

After an hour of Newcastle United boring everyone to death with their unwillingness to come out of their shell, Jonjo Shelvey stomped on Dele Alli to get sent off. Less than 10 minutes after being the recipient of an utterly stupid decision, Dele notched Tottenham Hotspur’s first goal of the season to put them 1-0 up.

Christian Eriksen did what he does best and picked out a perfect ball across the face of goal for Dele to slide in a great finish. It was a typically brilliant, well-worked goal for Spurs to start the season off right. Now hopefully they can finish off 10-man Newcastle and secure the first three points of the new campaign.
