Community Hoddle of Coffee for Wednesday, November 22

What are your Turkey Day plans?

NFL: Carolina Panthers at Dallas Cowboys Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Wednesday, everyone! For our non-American readers, today is the day before Thanksgiving. For many (but not all!) of us, it’s the last day before a four-day holiday weekend. Thanksgiving is a day where we traditionally spend with our friends and family, eating roast turkey and mashed potatoes, arguing about politics, and falling asleep in front of the television watching the Detroit Lions.

It’s also two days before Black Friday, that shrine to late capitalism where invariably someone gets trampled by a soccer mom trying to get that Must Have Trinket in a mall somewhere. But that’s an entirely different rant.

If you have a mini-holiday like I do, how do you plan to spend it?

No morning links today since this is an emergency late hoddle. Put then in the comments!

Here’s your Theme of the Day.
