Ahead of tomorrow’s North London Derby, Arsene Wenger has said that Tottenham need to overcome their ‘fear of failure’ if they want to break their long wait for a trophy. Wenger would know, of course, <Jose Mourinho voice>being the specialist in this area</Jose Mourinho voice>.

Meanwhile, the Guardian’s Jonah Wilson knows the real score- here he analyses just how much the traditional dynamic between Spurs and Arsenal has been flipped in recent years.

The BBC’s annual Price of Football survey results came out yesterday, and it turns out that supporting Spurs is a costly pursuit in more than just an emotional sense.

Elsewhere in football...

Premier League clubs have agreed to up the number of matches screened on live TV from 168 per season to 210, which feels like a good a pretext as any to link to THAT Mitchell & Webb sketch.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has claimed that he’ll be angling for the No.10 role when he finally makes his return to the Man Utd first team. Would you be able to tell him that he couldn’t?

It’s been quite a year for Marco Silva, who after nearly helping a dreadful Hull side avoid relegation and catapulting Watford to the top end of the table now finds himself the subject of Everton’s affections. You’d never be able to tell from his face, but I imagine he’s pretty happy about these developments.

And finally...

There’s testy managerial press conferences and then there’s this- Algeria manager Rabah Madjer did not take kindly to some of the questions asked of Leicester winger Riyah Mahrez after his side’s 3-0 friendly win over the Central African Republic.
