Fantastic news for Spurs fans today from Tottenham Hotspur’s social media account! The club tweeted photos today of Erik Lamela and Danny Rose actually training with the full first team.

So I’m not saying I had to google who that James Harden-looking dude in the bottom right is, but I’m not NOT saying that either. But whatever — this is absolutely fantastic news if you’re a Spurs supporter. Lamela has been out for a full calendar year with injuries in both of his hips that required surgery, and Rose has been out for what FEELS like a year.
It’s too soon to say when either of them will be match fit enough to actually play in games, but this feels like an important milestone. Having one or both of them back even in a small capacity will make this next stretch of games feel that much more doable.
