When the rumors about Manchester City being interested in West Bromwich Albion captain Jonny Evans first came out, we all thought it was hilarious and funny but there was no way this was true. As it turns out, the Blues are really serious about Evans.
In fact, the great Sam Lee of Goal is now reporting that Evans has already agreed to leave the Baggies and move to the Etihad.

Sammy reports that West Brom have already rejected two bids from City, the last one worth £18 million, but he says City officials remain confident that a deal will be reached before Deadline Day.
Evans has been chosen by Pep Guardiola to replace Aleksandar Kolarov as the fourth choice center-back in the squad. Pep wanted a cheap, experienced, homegrown player who is Premier League proven. Evans won’t be cheap, but he’s everything else.
It seems like this is really happening, y’all.
