Players from Manchester City and United were reportedly involved in a huge bust-up after Sunday’s derby at Old Trafford, which the visitors won to extend their lead to 11 points.

According to multiple reports in the UK, there was a big row outside the City dressing room after the match and things get pretty heated indeed.

BBC Sport report that Mikel Arteta “suffered a cut head” after United were apparently upset by City’s noisy celebrations after the game.

Jose Mourinho reportedly “had water and milk thrown at him” after going to the City dressing room and also had an angry exchange in Portuguese with goalkeeper Ederson.

The Guardian go into a bit more detail, reporting Mourinho screamed “you fucking show respect. Who are you?” to Ederson.

Over at the Telegraph, another reputable outlet, Mourinho went to ask City to “show more respect” and had a plastic bottle thrown at him.

The Daily Mail also get in on the action, but perhaps unsurprisingly, their accout is more extravagant with reports of a melee “involving some 20 players and staff.”

The Mail also report that Spanish radion station Cadena SER “claimed that Arteta's injury was caused by a bottle thrown by United striker Romelu Lukaku.”

It certainly looks as things got completely out of hand after the game and you suspect this is not the last we have heard of this.
