Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for September.
Pep led City to an absolutely perfect month, with four wins in four games and four clean sheets. There were notable wins against Liverpool (5-0 at the Etihad) and Chelsea (1-0 at Stamford Bridge), and a truly sensational 6-0 thrashing of a very good Watford side at Vicarage Road.
There is no doubt City have been the best team of the Premier League this season, and Pep deservedly gets some recognition for his role in the Blues’ incredible start.
